Welcome to our comprehensive training program designed to build and run embedded Linux systems with the Yocto Project and OpenEmbedded. Whether you’re a seasoned developer or just starting, this course provides hands-on experience and in-depth insights to improve your knowledge.

2 days / 16 hours – 4 half days
Prerequisites
- Knowledge and practice of UNIX or GNU/Linux commands
- Basic experience in embedded Linux development using Yocto
- Basic English language level: B1
Training information
The session will alternate between courses, live demonstrations and practical labs.
- Oral language: English / French (if needed)
- Materials language: English
- Instructor: Sid-Ali Teir
- Videoconferencing: Google Meet or Jitsi Meet or Teams
Instructions will be sent to each participant at least 48 hours before the beginning of the session.
Hardware requirements
A computer, an audio headset with mic and a stable Internet connection.
The practical labs, will use the following hardware items:
- Raspberry Pi 4 Model B
- USB-C cable for the power supply
- USB-SERIAL cable for the serial console
- microSD card of minimum 8 GB capacity
Having this hardware is NOT mandatory to follow the training.
